Hey, I’m John Kinley.
I come from an eclectic background. If you juxtapose farming and sailing, science and art, business and family, you get something like my life experience. With such a varied background comes relationships and contacts that have been cultivated during both times of stressful projects (like being under a deadline on a multimillion dollar project) and meaningful hobbies (like building a bunkie in the woods… with no real deadline). The key is to communicate to your team, your client, and yourself.
My Beginnings.
I started my property management career in a part-time job developing a company to take advantage of some old and derelict buildings in the Town of Lunenburg. The companies’ name was Heritage Harbour Developments. When I took over its management, it had 3 viable tenant properties and its revenue wasn’t nearly where it should be. After about 5 years of steady and hard work, I developed the company to have 15 revenue generating properties with both commercial and residential leases producing a profit and growing the company. The decision by the ownership was to sell the company and it’s properties but it was my first taste of property management and I felt like I found a calling!
Let’s Get Started
Now, I work with a variety of clients with properties across Lunenburg County. I still work with both residential and commercial leases but have widened my experiences to include multi-complex buildings as well as rural residences.
This is work that I enjoy. It allows me to maintain a flexible schedule for my young family and yet I still get to go out in the world and feel like I am accomplishing something. I want to help my clients with their property. Let me share my experience. I want your business!
My Approach
Keep it simple.
I only charge by an hourly rate and charge down to 15 mins increments. Whether it’s keeping an eye on things when you’re away or if you need someone to repair that pesky door knob that keeps getting stuck, you only get charged the time it takes to do the job.
